Day 1: Hanoi – Ha Giang (320km)
8.00am depart for Ha Giang town. The transfer proceed is an opportunities for tourist can be satisfied their passion of exploring the culture and local ethnic minorities.

From Hanoi you drive through many towns as Doan Hung, Tuyen Quang, Viet Quang, Vi Xuyen, Quang Bình. From Quang Binh we can drive to smaller road to visit Pa Then ethnic minority in number of hams which was gather along this road. This is one of the most colorful ethnic with self-weaving staffs with hemp tree bark. This is the wonderful driving and relaxing for taking photos.

In the afternoon, you will check in a local Homestay, a local family home-stay. (L, D)

Day 2: Ha Giang – Dong Van  (150km)
Dong Van is located in 1200m of sea elevator and located in the highest point in the map of Viet Nam.. It is also a capital of a group of H’Mong ethnic minorities. There is government of h’Mong with their King who can not defeated by French colonist attached in early 1894. Today you will go to visit the Home of H’Mong’s King.

You will come to visit Lo Lo people in a hamlet village in Pho Cao Community and see the villager make their own weaving linen staff which normally done by women. Instead by Hop Tien line weaving village sometime because of timing.

After leave Pho Cao Community you will visit Quang Ba market where give you a glimpse of the culture of Ethnic minorities activities. There is the must – see for the contemporary history sight that is the Flag Pole tower, which be considering the top roof of Viet Nam country.

Drive to Phuong Do Tay ethnic minority and visit it’s original architecture and culture then take a walk to visit the HMong King’ house in the area close by. Stay over night in a local guest house. (B, L, D)

Day 3: Dong Van – Meo Vac – Ba Be (230 – 280km depend on rainy season – hard day)
Visit the market near hotel in one hour before breakfast then take a drive to Meo Vac town (where have famous Love Market in the commune often open in Lunar March). This driving proceed is very wonderful scenic like Ma Pi Leng pass (1959-1965), valleys, river. You will have lots of opportunities for taking picture to the snaky road and valleys before get to Meo Vac market in Meo Vac town. Continue to drive to a Townville Bao Lac for lunch. After lunch you will drive in the tortuous mountain road to Ba Be national park. Overnight at National park Ba Be guest house (B, L, D)

Day 4: Ba Be (10km)
After breakfast we drive a short distance to the jetty where we board our private boat for a cruise along Nang River. We visit the Puong cave and the Dau Dang waterfall. Following lunch we continue cruising back current then turn to Ba Be Lake, before docking at the village of Bo Lu of Tay ethnic people. Home of the Tay minority people where we will spend the night. Day 5: Ba Be – Cao Bang – Ban Gioc – Cao Bang (330km)
This morning we drive 130km drive to Cao Bang. En route, we are passing numerous villages of H’mong, Zao, Tay and Nung ethnic minority people, all living in harmony. We will arrive at Cao Bang slightly before lunchtime and spend a little exploring this little town, and visiting the local market. After lunch we will transfer to Ban Gioc Water Fall which is the biggest water fall in Viet Nam and located in the boarder of Vietnam – China. In this water fall you have 2 options for swimming or rent a rafting bamboo float around a bit and visit a cave in the top of the water fall where you can have some photos for souvenir. After ward we have long drive back to Hotel in Cao Bang town. Today is a big transfer day so you will come to the hotel in late. (B/ picnic L/ D)

Day 6: Cao Bang Trek (50km)
Start the trekking tour with your local guide and porters who will arrange your meals and assistant you along the trek.

We drive to Ta Lung border of Viet Nam – China for lunch. Later we begin our trek with a 15km walk to the La village which inhabited by Tay Ethnic minority and stay overnight in a local home stay. (B/L/D)

Day 7: Cao Bang Trek
Today we trek from La village to Na Nieng village, another Tay community. The trek is approximately 16km long and you will have opportunity for a challenge to cross many streams which is one of the cause that not be operated in rainy season. Today you will get wet and dry and wet many times. Overnight in Na Mieng Village. (B/L/D)

Day 8: Cao Bang Trek
Another serious day’s trekking through several minority hamlets. We stop for lunch at the village of Dong Khe before venturing on to the Red Dao settlement of Pac Khoang. Trekking is around 20km.  (B/L/D) 

Day 9: Cao Bang Trek
Our final full day of trekking takes us to the Tay village of Na Pang then walk a little bit further for your little hotel in a small Townville of That Khe.. Trekking distance is around 17km trek. (B/L/D)

Day 10: Cao Bang – Hanoi (300km)
In the early morning you will have opportunity to visit a lovely market where many ethnic minorities dressing traditional customs doing their business.

Bidding our hosts farewell, we drive down hill to Lang Son town and via Lang Son for Lunch. After lunch in the village we meet up with our vehicle, which will transport us back to Hanoi. (B/L) Tour End.
